In business since 2005, Exact Solar is one of Bucks County, PA's leading solar energy system installers and the only company with extensive experience in installing solar PV, solar water heating and solar pool heating systems. Our Founder and President, Mark Bortman

In 2004, Mark Bortman, founder of Exact Solar, moved his family to Costa Rica for a year to learn more about alternative energy options. During that year, Mark had the extreme honor of working with a true pioneer in the solar water heating (solar thermal) field, a man who has been in the industry since the 1970s working in California, Arizona and Central America. That man, Bruce Carey, spent the year giving Mark invaluable experience and the education of a lifetime. When he returned to the Philadelphia area, Mark started Exact Solar. Initially specializing in installing solar water heating and pool heating systems (solar thermal), Exact Solar has since expanded to become a solar electric (photovoltaic or PV) systems installer as well.
